FAQs

Return Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. But if something’s not right, here’s how returns work:

  • You pay return shipping unless we made a mistake with your order.
  • Returns must be unaltered. We don’t accept returns on clock hands, movements, covers, or other parts that have been installed, bent, trimmed, painted, or changed in any way.
  • Tracking is required. You must use a tracked shipping method for all returns.
  • Include your info. Make sure the name or business that placed the order is included in the package, or we won’t know who to refund.
  • Refunds cover product cost only. We don’t refund original shipping fees unless the return is due to our error.
  • No refunds for customizations or rush order fees.

If everything checks out, we’ll refund the cost of goods once your return is received and inspected.

Have a question before returning something? Just reach out—we’re here to help.

Shipping Policy

Here’s how we ship your order safely and reliably:

  • All orders ship with tracking.
  • Orders over $50 require a signature. Please use a shipping address where someone can sign for the package.
  • We ship worldwide. International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees charged by your country.
  • We declare the full value of items. No exceptions.

You’ll get tracking info as soon as your order ships.

Need a rush or have a special request? Just ask—we’ll do our best to help.

How Long Do Orders Take?

Since each set of clock hands is hand-painted by me, orders can take up to 2 weeks to process. Sometimes it’s faster—but drying conditions (like heat, humidity, etc.) can affect timing.

I won’t ship anything that’s even slightly tacky. Why? Because nothing’s worse than opening your order and finding the protective paper stuck to your custom-painted hands. No thanks!

Good art takes time, and I appreciate your patience. I’m an artist working in a real studio—not a factory with robots and perfect climate control.

In a hurry? Message me! I’m happy to let you know if I have any pre-painted sets ready to ship ASAP.

Customization

Don’t see the exact size, color, or style you need? No problem—custom projects are always welcome!

  • Custom pricing starts at $4 extra per clock hand set.
  • To get the best quote, send me pictures and measurements of your clock project.
  • The more detail you provide, the better I can match your vision.
  • Custom orders are non-refundable once started, since they’re made just for you.
  • Need it fast? Let me know up front so we can talk about rush options.

Every project is a collaboration—I love helping bring your ideas to life! Just message me to start your custom order.

How to Measure a Clock Dial

When measuring a clock, you measure the dial (the face only)—not the outer rim, frame, or bezel.

  • Place a ruler or tape measure across the flat part of the dial (edge to edge).
  • Measure straight across through the center hole where the hands attach.
  • Ignore the rim or any raised edges—just measure the visible face.

This gives you the correct dial size so your hands or parts will fit perfectly.

What Batteries Should I Use in My Clock?

Not all batteries are created equal—especially when it comes to clocks. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Stick with Alkaline. Clocks are “low-drain” devices. Alkaline batteries are designed for this and will keep your clock running smoothly.
  • Best brands: We recommend Rayovac or Duracell. They consistently perform well in clock movements.
  • Avoid certain brands: Some brands, like Energizer, have extra plastic coating on the negative end. That tiny detail can cause your clock to glitch or stop working.
  • No lithium or rechargeable batteries. Those are built for “high-drain” gadgets like cameras. In clocks, they’ll cause malfunctions—or not work at all.

👉 Quick tip: If your clock stops randomly or doesn’t start, the battery is usually the first place to check. Swap it for a fresh alkaline, and you’re good to go.
